Challenge
Jiro is practice intelligence for clinicians: a product that helps medical practitioners in the United States keep track of their income, referrals and cash flows. Practitioners need their data to be reliable, to integrate quickly with the systems they already use, and to work with as little friction as possible.
My Role
Since February 2026 I have been a founding member of Jiro Health as a principal/founding engineer, working remotely for a US team. I own API development end to end for my pods, from the specification to the release, and build enterprise-grade interfaces through which practitioners get to their data reliably and integrate faster.
How We Work
I use AI to speed up delivery and design AI-assisted development pipelines with a strong emphasis on security. Every change goes through rigorous code review, so quality and safety stay high at each stage. I also work on security questions here, application security (AppSec) included.
Stack
The APIs are built on Node.js, and background data processing runs in Python.
