Client Journey
Fan (Buyer)
- Discovery. A fan wants to surprise a friend with a personal video message from their favourite blogger. They land on Arleko, browse the catalogue of bloggers sorted by category and price, and instantly see who is available.
- Choosing a blogger. Each blogger has a profile with their niche, sample content, rating, and delivery time. The fan picks the right one and clicks "Order".
- Filling in the brief. A short form: recipient's name, occasion, key details to mention, preferred tone. No calls, no emails — just a one-page form.
- Online payment. The fan pays directly on the platform via the integrated payment gateway. The blogger is notified immediately, the money is held in escrow until delivery.
- Receiving the video. The blogger records and uploads the video within the agreed timeframe. The fan gets a notification, watches the video on the platform, and downloads or shares it.
Blogger (Vendor)
- Registration as a vendor. The blogger creates a seller profile on the multivendor platform — sets their price, niche, turnaround time, and availability.
- Order notification. When a new order arrives, the blogger sees it in their personal dashboard with the brief already attached — no need to chase the buyer for details.
- Video recording and upload. The blogger records the greeting and uploads it through their vendor console. The platform notifies the buyer automatically.
- Payout. After the buyer confirms receipt (or the auto-confirm timer expires), the payout is released to the blogger's account.
Before & After
| Before | After |
|---|---|
| ✗ Ordering a personal video from a blogger required agency middlemen or DMs that often went unanswered | ✓ Fans self-serve end-to-end: browse → brief → pay → receive video, no intermediary needed |
| ✗ Bloggers had no structured way to monetise fan requests — income was unpredictable and ad-hoc | ✓ Each blogger gets a vendor storefront with a fixed price, delivery SLA, and automated payouts |
| ✗ Payments were informal (bank transfers, cash) with no buyer protection | ✓ Integrated payment gateway with escrow — money is released only after video delivery |
| ✗ WordPress out of the box had no multivendor or multistore capabilities | ✓ Custom plugin stack extended WordPress into a full multivendor marketplace with per-vendor dashboards |
| ✗ Plugin UI was in English — confusing for Russian-speaking bloggers and buyers | ✓ Full plugin localisation: every label, error message, and email notification translated to Russian |
| ✗ Page load times were high due to unoptimised plugin stack | ✓ Performance audit + caching + asset optimisation cut load time significantly |
