Prompt Debugging Is Never Free

This is roughly how I see working with AI agents.

A joke Java snippet: a loop of attempts to get a perfect answer from a neural network on the first try, followed by the total amount spent

Plenty of people claim you can get a 100% accurate result from a single prompt. I see it differently. Getting to that prompt, while you narrow the task down and describe it, takes more than a hundred attempts.

Every one of those attempts has to be paid for. Only one of them, the very last one after you have debugged everything, gets you the result you wanted.

So when you work with AI, keep in mind that debugging is not free and costs serious money.
